Aluminum Welder Sugar Land TX

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder Sugar Land TX. The welder will be responsible for production fitting and welding using the GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) processes. Candidates should be comfortable working from shop drawings and standard product details. A 1G weld test is required for certification in accordance with AWS D1.2 (latest revision).

Prior aluminum welding experience is required.

Aluminum Welder Sugar Land TX Job Duties:

• Fit and weld aluminum components per job specifications
• Meet daily production goals
• Read and interpret shop work orders and blueprints
• Follow welding procedures for aluminum fabrication
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment as needed
• Provide support in other departments when required

Aluminum Welder Sugar Land Job Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass a welding test
• Aluminum welding experience (MIG & TIG preferred)
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for long periods
• No felonies in the last three years, no violent felonies ever

Pay: $18 DOE
Shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Sugar Land, TX
