*Please note, this position is located in Sugar Land TX, however there is another plant in East Bernard TX. Candidates MUST be okay with working at either location as needed*

PLC Technician Sugar Land TX Job Duties:

• Troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining PLC systems to ensure production equipment runs efficiently

• Installing and configuring PLC hardware, HMI interfaces, and industrial sensors

• Interpreting electrical and schematic drawings to identify and resolve control system issues

• Performing routine preventative maintenance on automation systems and electrical panels

• Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve automation processes

• Documenting all control system changes and updates in compliance with company standards

• Assisting with commissioning new equipment and integrating automation into new production lines

• Ensuring all work adheres to OSHA safety regulations and internal quality guidelines

• Supporting emergency maintenance needs with quick diagnostics and effective solutions

• Participating in ongoing training to stay current on PLC technologies and industry standards

PLC Technician Sugar Land TX Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)

• Able to work at our Sugar Land location, servicing East Bernard TX 77435 as needed.

• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase wiring and motor controls

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and control diagrams

• Familiarity with VFDs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills in fast-paced production settings

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

• No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus

• Willingness to work occasional overtime or respond to off-shift calls as needed

Location: Sugar Land TX 77478 OR East Bernard 77435

Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, but may vary

Pay: $60-$70k yearly
